Manners Matter

A gesture of courtesy, turned into objects.

Manners Matter is a collection of accessories designed to celebrate the art of hosting. More than just functional, these pieces make a statement: they offer an experience that is elegant, thoughtful, and meaningful. Each item in the kit was conceived as a silent gesture of hospitality.

The project is based on a simple premise: manners matter, and so do the details. A well-set table isn’t about show — it’s an act of care toward those around us. This collection seeks to enhance that ritual through sculptural objects crafted in Dekton, a technical material that combines beauty, strength, and refinement.

The Premium Kit

A set of accessories designed to elevate the experience of a special dinner.

Components:

Multipurpose board: a solid base for cheeses, cured meats or sushi.
Coasters: geometric design, both functional and elegant.
Cutlery holders: organize and elevate the table setting.
Wine drip ring: prevents stains and adds a touch of style.
Stone ice cubes: chill drinks without diluting the flavor.

Pattern, material and gesture

Each object is a meeting point between the artisanal and the technical, between the sensory and the rational, between raw material and the gesture that gives it meaning. A subtle surface texture was developed through the systematic repetition of the “+” symbol, creating a tactile and visual pattern that defines the collection without overshadowing the material itself.

This pattern plays with contrast: matte and polished surfaces, solids and voids — reinforcing the sculptural dimension of each piece. The forms are geometric, yet soft. Carefully beveled edges and rounded corners add to the sense of precision and crafted detail.

Material

The choice of Dekton was intentional. This next-generation material, inspired by natural stone, allows for high-precision finishes and exceptional durability. Its visual quality — warm and mineral — stands in poetic contrast to the fleeting nature of a gathering, highlighting the tension between the ephemeral and the enduring
