Escuchá la Noche
A sculptural candleholder about sensitivity, materiality, and the act of presence
“Escuchá la noche” (“Listen to the night”) is a project born from a place of sensitivity. An invitation to slow down, light a candle, observe its flame, and surrender to the moment. Its form seeks to move without speaking; its presence is silent yet eloquent.
Originally conceived as a gift for people with whom we share meaningful projects, this object offers a pause. From the outset, the intention was to create a piece that connects with intimate and significant moments of everyday life: a dinner with friends, a quiet night with a partner, or simply, a solitary pause. The candle —an icon of warmth and contemplation— became the central axis of the design.
Materials that speak
The candleholder combines two deeply contrasting and complementary materials:
Natural travertine stone: porous, warm, organic. Each block is unique, with its own texture and presence.Anodized aluminum: technical, precise, satin finish. A material that reflects the care behind its crafting.
The result is a balance between the rustic and the refined, the natural and the industrial. A sculptural piece assembled through gravity and friction — no screws, no glue — just matter in tension and equilibrium.
The detail that transforms
On the metal base of the candleholder, a minimal phrase:
“escuchá la noche.”
A poetic gesture that accompanies the experience and turns the object into a symbol. Because sometimes, the smallest gestures are the ones that last the longest.
Packaging as part of the experience
The packaging was designed to extend the project’s spirit: sober, sensitive, and functional. Made entirely from cardboard, its interlocking system protects each piece and reinforces the object’s value from the very first touch. It includes two natural beeswax candles —rare and carefully chosen for their color, texture, and scent— and each candleholder is delivered ready to be assembled by its recipient.
