Welcome Pack para Meyland
DiazMalbranStudio
A coffee set born from material, technique, and gesture.
This welcome pack originates from a process of research and experimentation around stoneware ceramics and its productive possibilities. Through the use of plaster molds and slip casting, a family of objects was developed to explore the expressiveness of the material and the qualities of the process.
The result is a simple, everyday gesture: a coffee break, elevated through design.
The set includes a handleless cup, a multipurpose bowl, and a plate for small accompaniments. Each piece is precisely shaped using 3D printed models, glazed on the inside, and finished on the outside with a matte texture and vertical grooves — a soft, organic pattern that invites touch and unifies the set.
A detail in polished stainless steel — either a stirrer or spreader, depending on use — adds a technical, lightweight accent.
All components nest into a black-stained wooden tray, CNC-cut and designed to interlock. Two trays placed face to face form the complete container, emphasizing the contrast of materials and completing the system.
The project was made possible in collaboration with Almagre and other specialized workshops.
