Armchair lugano

A structure that embraces, a form that contains.
Designed for Giunta Muebles, this armchair begins with a clear gesture: the upholstered body is nested within the structure. A sort of corpulent, faceted capsule that floats, held by a continuous metal tube line that defines the perimeter, provides support, and outlines the outer contour with a subtle yet firm graphic presence.

The seat is generous, soft to the touch, and conveys an enveloping warmth. Double-stitched seams trace the silhouette’s folds like lines of tension, adding visual structure and definition to its faceted surfaces.

From a technical standpoint, the metal frame is built from round steel tubing, powder-coated and joined with precision. A continuous curved detail reinforces the enveloping gesture. The upholstered volume, with a wooden core, locks firmly into the frame, creating a dialogue between the visual weight of the body and the lightness of its support.

A piece that balances gesture and function.
Built to endure, but also to accompany.
